CASART Uniforms

CASART Uniform Shirt Though it was a good idea, actually supplying uniform shirts through the team become logistically and financially awkward. We have therefore outsourced this to a vendor who is willing to stock the shirts, but still give us (and any other SAR teams) excellent pricing.

The shirts are extremely bright blaze orange Remington brand polyester long-sleeved button down shirts. Kudos to Rob Winter for his research comparing many shirts to find a shirt that is tough in the field, comfortable, and incredibly colorfast. These shirts do not seem to fade at all. Patch and Insignia Placement

It is important that team members present a consistent appearance with regard to the uniform shirt. Please adhere to the following guidelines so that the team can maintain uniformity. Members should have these patches affixed to their blaze orange Remington brand shirt as follows:

CASART patch on the wearer's left sleeve, centered and one half inch below the shoulder out seam.
NYS Federation patch over the wearer's left chest pocket, centered and one half inch above the pocket flap
NYS DEC BWSS patch on the wearer's right sleeve, centered and one half inch below the shoulder out seam. If trained as a crew boss, the member may wear the crew boss rocker (crescent)immediately below the DEC patch on the right sleeve, one half inch below the round DEC patch.
